Drawing on contemporary research, this interactive online workshop focusses on assessment-informed practices for teaching spelling to children in the first three years of their primary schooling.

In this online session, Dr Tessa Daffern explains how school-based educators in an Early Years context (Foundation to Year 2) can use error analysis to systematically plan and deliver targeted instruction in the phonological, orthographic and morphological components of spelling.
By participating in this interactive session, school educators will refine their linguistic knowledge and explore how assessment strategies can inform literacy teaching priorities and approaches in the Early Years.
This workshop is aligned to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Presented online via Zoom.

Note: School Group Registrations are for group bookings of at least 4 staff from the same school.
