Teaching Morphological skills to support Spelling

In this interactive online session, Dr Tessa Daffern shares a range of practical suggestions for teaching morphological skills that aim to support the development of spelling skills in the primary years.

School educators participating in this workshop will have an opportunity to:
– Consider how morphological skills can support learning to spell;
– Understand how to provide differentiated morphological instruction;
– Develop knowledge of how to explicitly teach morphological skills.
This workshop is aligned to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
