In this interactive online session, Dr Tessa Daffern shares a range of practical suggestions for teaching phonological skills that aim to support the development of spelling skills in the primary years.

School educators participating in this workshop will have an opportunity to:
– Consider how phonological skills can support learning to spell;
– Understand how to provide differentiated phonological instruction;
– Develop knowledge of how to explicitly teach phonological skills.
This workshop is aligned to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
