Cancellation Policy
Professional Consultation (External Services)
Includes, but is not limited to, engagements such as consultations, workshops, and conferences where Dr Tessa Daffern provides services to external providers.
Bookings for professional consultations and workshops are limited and secured in advance to ensure dedicated service delivery. If you need to cancel your engagement, please note the following terms:
- Notification Requirement All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: admin@literacyeducationsolutions.com.au
- Standard Cancellation Fee A flat fee of $55 applies to all cancellations.
- Scaled Fee for Larger Engagements For bookings valued over $500, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total service value or $200, whichever is greater, will apply.
- Travel Costs Any non-refundable travel expenses incurred by Literacy Education Solutions Pty Ltd in preparation for your engagement will be charged in full if the booking is cancelled.
- Preparation Costs Literacy Education Solutions Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for preparation time already undertaken prior to cancellation.
- Discretionary Waiver Cancellation fees may be waived under exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of Literacy Education Solutions Pty Ltd.
Professional Learning (PL) Workshops
Applies to Professional Learning services advertised on this website.
- A place on a Professional Learning (PL) Workshop is only guaranteed once a successful Registration has been completed via the website, or an invoice has been paid by a school.
- Cancellation terms are as follows:

- Cancellation Notice All PL Workshop cancellations must be submitted via email to: admin@literacyeducationsolutions.com.au.
- Provider-Initiated Changes In rare and unavoidable circumstances, Literacy Education Solutions Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a PL Workshop. In such cases, a full refund or placement in an alternative workshop will be offered.
By booking a consultation, workshop or professional learning, you agree to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
